Dear Bruce, I was volunteering in Huaraz in July and August this year, and had the most amazing experience. The children were fanastic to work with, all with so much potential, and just before I left it was great to see a couple of new faces. I'm writing to explain just how important I think the Huaraz centre is. As in any city in Peru, there are huge numbers of children who could benefit from the help of an organisation like Bruce Peru- on just one afternoon I went with Yuri to the poorest area of Huaraz, and within a few minutes we had spoken to 2 families with children who weren't in school, who told us of other families besides them. While I was there I worked very cloesly with Caralynna in the day-to-day running and organisation of the centre Lucy Greaves lholocke@uoregon.edu
